TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms apply when you order food or drinks, reserve a table, create an account, or otherwise use the services of Tandoor Indian Cuisine.
1. RESTAURANT INFORMATION
Tandoor Indian CuisineAddress: Sentrumsgården 17, 2022 Gjerdrum, NorwayEmail: tandoor.gjerdrum@gmail.comTelephone: +47 977 66 677
2. ORDERS AND CONTRACT
Choose your items, check the order details, and submit the order through our website. A binding agreement is formed when we accept the order and send or display an order confirmation. Please contact us immediately if the confirmation is incorrect.
We may reject or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, the delivery address is outside our service area, payment is not authorised, the order appears fraudulent, or an obvious price or description error has occurred. If payment has already been taken, the affected amount will be refunded.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT where applicable. Any delivery fee, service fee, minimum order, discount, or other charge will be shown before you confirm the purchase. Payment is processed by the payment options displayed at checkout.
4. PICKUP AND DELIVERY
Preparation, pickup, and delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather, order volume, or other events outside our reasonable control may cause delays. For delivery, you must provide a correct address and telephone number and be available to receive the order. Risk in the food passes to you when it is collected or delivered.
Please inspect the order promptly. If food is missing, incorrect, damaged, or not of satisfactory quality, contact us as soon as possible with your order details so that we can assess an appropriate replacement, price reduction, or refund under applicable consumer law.
5. CHANGES, CANCELLATION, AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to help, but an order may not be changed or cancelled after preparation has started.
The statutory right of withdrawal normally does not apply to prepared meals, fresh food, or other goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, in accordance with section 22 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. This does not limit your rights if the order is faulty or not supplied as agreed.
6. ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Information about ingredients and allergens is available on request. Tell us about every allergy or dietary requirement before placing your order or when making a reservation, and confirm it directly with the restaurant. Our kitchen handles common allergens, and although we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces or cross-contact.
7. ALCOHOL
Alcohol is sold only where permitted by our licence and Norwegian law. The customer must meet the applicable age requirement and may be asked for valid identification. We may refuse an alcohol sale or delivery where age, identification, intoxication, or another legal requirement is not satisfied.
8. TABLE RESERVATIONS
A reservation is confirmed only when you receive confirmation from us. Please provide accurate contact details and arrive on time. If you are delayed or cannot attend, contact us as soon as possible. We may release a table after a reasonable period if we cannot reach you. Special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless confirmed by us.
9. ACCOUNTS AND WEBSITE USE
You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure and for information submitted through your account. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use content in violation of intellectual-property rights.
10. LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our responsibility for a consumer order is governed by mandatory Norwegian consumer law.
11. PRIVACY
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data in connection with orders, reservations, accounts, and website use.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND COMPLAINTS
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you have a complaint, contact us first at tandoor.gjerdrum@gmail.com or +47 977 66 677 so we can try to resolve it. Consumers may also seek guidance or dispute resolution through the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or another competent Norwegian consumer body. You retain all mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms for future orders and reservations. The version in force when your order or reservation is accepted will apply to that transaction.
